Roscoe’s Smokehouse is owned and operated by Scott Noojin and Blair Pearce and is the first of its kind.
Blair and Scott were college students at Texas Christian University when they started working weekends at a local BBQ place called North Main BBQ, in Euless, Texas. North Main is nationally renowned for their ribs, brisket, and chicken and has won numerous first place trophies from BBQ cook-offs across the nation, including the prestigious world rib championship cook-off in Richmond, Virginia; and the Best of the West Nugget Rib cook-off in Reno, Nevada.
Scott and Blair discovered their passion for BBQ as Pit Masters at North Main in the mid 90s and have worked at developing and perfecting their own style ever since. After Ten years in the corporate world, the owners decided to start their own restaurant. After three years of hard work, Roscoe’s Smokehouse was born.
The restaurant’s name comes from Scott’s 60 lb Bassett hound “Roscoe”. “Roscoe’s Smokehouse” started off as a joke, but the owners’ families grew attached to it and it stuck.
Scott and Blair are proud to live and work in Burleson and hope Roscoe’s will be a local favorite for years to come.
